I don't normally get wound up by ignorant bigots on here but I do hope that Dandy Lyon goes on in life to contribute as much as Charlie Watts did to popular youth culture. RIP

underrated, simple clean style that let the rest of the band flourish. saw them in 2018, 77 year old drumming, impressive stamina. RIP....

You know time is not on your side when legends of your yoof start pegging it regularly.
80 is a decent innings but not spectacular these days. Then again, what a life. Quality not quantity etc.
Anyway, will raise a pint to him with fellow old gits who remember these real musicians and pioneers ( yeah I know the Stones repackaged African American blues but they transported it to the mainstream masses which means "whitey" ) :-)
Talking of age related realities, I was told Eric Clapton is struggling to play his axe these days? Arthritis ?
